Inspiration for Vitello Focaccia:

"The meat filling I use for cannelloni is so delicious that I was looking for a way to incorporate it into another recipe. When I saw the Build a Better Burger contest information, it seemed like the perfect fit. I adjusted the ingredients and added two other favorite things: grilled focaccia for the bun and a modified caprese salad for the condiment. They all seemed to compliment each other. The other thing that really makes this burger work is a charcoal grill; the char-grilled flavor is the finishing touch."

Memories of BBB:

"A wonderful experience from beginning to end! It didn't hurt to go home with the check for $20,000, which we did use to take a very memorable trip to Tuscany, but that was just the icing on the cake. Our trip to St. Helena and the new friends we made were the real 'prizes' and ones we'll never forget. I've been a Burger Queen ever since, cooking that burger all over town for every kind of fundraiser you can think of, so the fun has continued thanks to Build a Better Burger!"
